Sometimes people contact me about Britney Spears. Many years ago, I recorded for Britney and her then-husband Kevin Federline, first at a studio in Malibu, and then at their home studio. During that time, I produced and co-wrote the song 'Red Hot Lipstick' with Britney and she had me submit an early version of the song to her label Jive as part of the album she intended to release. I'm a little hazy on if and when I ever signed an NDA with Britney and/or Kevin, but I've always been pretty discreet about my time with both of them.

The song never did make it on to a Britney Spears album, so a few years back I posted the song on my Bandcamp page. No one really noticed until one day someone did, and then a lot of people did, and now the song is out of my digital hands, so to speak. However, this is the only place to listen to the song with my official blessing. Big shout out to my boy NoteRockOne for killing his verse and having the good sense to put Britney in the driver's seat. And of course the biggest shout out is to Britney, who I wish nothing but the best and I hope is starting to find her happy place.
